Honda 2-Wheelers India recently launched two big bikes, the Rebel 500 and the X-ADV 750, in the Indian market. Following this, the company is planning to further expand its big bike lineup. Under this plan, three new big bikes will be launched in India. All these bikes are imported from abroad in a completely built (CBU – Completely Built Unit) state. The new bikes will be sold only through Honda’s BigWing showrooms. This aims to provide a personalized sales and service experience for big bikes.

3.Honda XL750 Transalp ADV 2025

Design and ADV-type features
The Honda XL750 Transalp is an adventure commuter bike in the middleweight category. The bike comes with new style and improved features. The front has dual LED headlights (bi-LED). They help in better visibility at night. Also, the tall windshield helps in blocking the wind from hitting the passenger.
All these features make it safe and smooth to travel on rough roads apart from roads. This bike uses spoked wheels and tubed tires at the front and rear. These provide stability and reliability even on challenging OFF-road trips.
Color Options
Three new color options have been introduced for the 2025 Honda XL750 Transalp bike. They are Rose White , Graphite Black , and Pearl Deep Mud Grey . These colors further strengthen the adventure and modern look of the bike. Each color offers a unique and stylish look, giving the rider the opportunity to choose according to their preferences.
Engine Details and CB750 Connection
The Honda XL750 Transalp bike is powered by a powerful 755cc parallel-twin OHC (Unicam) liquid-cooled engine. This engine is capable of producing about 91.7 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm.
It is equipped with a six-speed gearbox and has a 270-degree crankshaft, which provides a better driving experience even at low speeds. Since the same engine is also used in the CB750 Hornet bike, it can be said that these two models share the same engine platform.
Suspension changes and passenger comfort
Although the 2025 model Honda XL750 Transalp bike continues with the USD forks and rear monoshock suspension, they have been updated with minor changes. Especially since the damping at the front has been reduced and the rear shock has been made stiffer, the driving experience has been further improved in both on-road and off-road environments.
This reduces the softness in the rear when traveling with a passenger and increases control. This creates confidence among the passengers. The new suspension system and spoke wheels connected to the passenger help provide a quiet and flexible ride during the trip.
Price Expectations and Market Status
According to Autocar India, the new Honda Transalp 750 is likely to be launched in India in June or July 2025. The ex-showroom price of the model is expected to be around Rs. 10.99 lakh. Despite the addition of new features, the price is being kept at the same level as the previous model. The updated model is expected to further expand the Indian mid-weight adventure bike lineup and generate more interest among the riders.
Target Riders and Key Competitors
The Honda Transalp XL750 is a mid-weight adventure touring bike. It is not only designed to travel on city roads and long-distance roads, but is also designed to be able to travel off-road or on unpaved roads. Due to this, it is an ideal choice for riders who want to take on challenges on mountain trails beyond the regular roads, especially those who are interested in traveling safely and comfortably with two passengers.
The main competitors in this category of bikes are the KTM 790/890 Adventure (mainly the 890 Adventure R), Yamaha Tenere 700 and Triumph Tiger. In addition, there are also higher-end models like the BMW F850GS and Ducati DesertX, but the KTM 890 Adventure R is considered the main competitor in the Indian market.
