Nissan is developing a new MPV vehicle based on the CMF-A+ platform used in the Renault Kiger. This vehicle is being developed to attract more competitors towards the Indian market. Importantly, it will be priced lower than other MPVs due to its high localisation. The vehicle will be manufactured at the Renault-Nissan joint venture in Tamil Nadu.

The MPV will be offered with two petrol engines. One is a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine and the other is a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. These will be mated to manual and automatic gearbox options. This will give customers a choice of options.
After the launch of the MPV, Nissan will also be introducing a new C-Shakti SUV.
