Popular Canadian singer Justin Bieber is set to release his seventh album on Friday, The Hollywood Reporter has reported, citing independent sources. The long-awaited album will be released on Friday, July 11, via Def Jam, the report said.
While it has not been officially confirmed, the source who provided the information is believed to be reliable. When asked for confirmation, Bieber’s representative did not respond, and Def Jam declined to comment on the matter, the report said.
According to information previously published by The Hollywood Reporter, Bieber had traveled to Iceland in April to finish work on his next music project, following his 2021 album “Justice.” There, he held “jam sessions” to spend time in nature and create songs with several musicians. A reliable insider said that all this happened in preparation for his new album.
On Thursday, a large billboard with the word “Swag” along with a photo of Justin Bieber was put up in Iceland. It is quickly going viral on social media. Therefore, speculations are rising that “Swag” could be the name of the new album. But the name of the album has not been officially confirmed yet. The same advertisement has also been placed in the Sunset Boulevard area of Los Angeles, USA, which increases public interest in the album.

Background of the production of the new album and participants
On Thursday, Justin Bieber posted photos and videos on his social media indicating the track list of the new album. This shows that the production of the album is in the final stages. On June 30th and in other recent Instagram posts, footage of the final mixing process in ProTools software is seen. This is where the songs are recorded in the studio and then prepared into a complete musical form.
As previously reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Bieber has been hosting music events at his Los Angeles home. The events have included his longtime DJ Tay James, music director HARV, Carter Lang, who worked with popular singer SZA, and Australian musician Eddie Benjamin.
The new album also features prominent artists such as Gunna, Sexyy Red, and Cash Cobain. Justin Bieber has recently mentioned them on his social media, so it seems that collaborations with them could be a major feature of the album.
Public Life Changes and New Alliances
Justin Bieber has brought in a variety of new and unique musical personalities for his new album. It features UK songwriter Sekou and producer Dylan Wiggins, who has produced hits like Kali Uchis’ “I Wish You Roses” and The Weeknd’s “Die For You.” Bieber also features lesser-known artists he discovered through his social media.
The new album follows his 2021 album “Justice.” Bieber’s life has been marked by significant changes. In 2024, he welcomed a child with his wife Hailey Bieber. Professionally, Bieber parted ways with his longtime manager Scooter Braun in 2023. Braun recently announced that he would be stepping down as CEO of Hybe America. All of these changes have marked a new chapter in Bieber’s personal and musical career.
Financial Affairs and Commercial Success
Justin Bieber had received an advance payment of Rs. 40 million from the event management company AEG due to his inability to complete the world tour for his last album “Justice”. But when he did not fulfill the concerts, he had to pay back more than 20 million. The amount was lent by the company headed by his former manager Scooter Braun. Bieber and Braun have worked together on several business ventures, a record label, and film projects.
Braun also participated in a deal to sell Justin Bieber’s song rights to Hipgnosis Songs (now Recognition Music) in a deal valued at more than 200 million. This is considered the largest income for a single artist under the age of 30.
After this, Rhode Beauty, the independent skincare brand created by Bieber’s wife Hailey Bieber, was recently sold to e.l.f. Beauty for $1 billion. Scooter Braun was an investor in the brand. This information clearly shows the commercial growth of the Bieber family.
