This makes the driving experience much more convenient and modern. This feature will now be available on all new XEV 9e and BE6 vehicles, and it is a major step forward for Mahindra to meet the needs of customers. Thus, these two electric vehicles of Mahindra have become more technologically advanced and can meet the expectations of modern customers.

New vehicles with update facility

Now, wireless connectivity facilities are offered as standard in new deliveries of Mahindra XEV 9e and BE6 models. Mahindra has assured that customers will not have to do a separate software update as before. It is also noteworthy that this facility is available in all types of models, i.e. from Pack One to Pack Three.

These new wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay facilities use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset. This chipset powers the multiple 12.3-inch displays in the vehicle and also supports 5G connectivity. This further enhances the vehicle’s advanced infotainment system and complete connected car features. This includes pre-installed apps and features to control the vehicle from a distance.

Mahindra’s Born-Electric Models: XEV 9e and BE6

Mahindra has designed its XEV 9e and BE6 models with two different approaches to target the fast-growing electric vehicle market in India. The XEV 9e model is available with a starting price of ₹21.9 lakh. It features coupe-inspired styling, a tech-rich interior with three 12.3-inch displays, a head-up display with augmented reality and Level 2+ driver assistance features. It has a mileage of up to 656 km and a premium audio system with 16 speakers. This makes it a great choice for those who want more technology and a premium experience.

The BE6 model is available with a starting price of ₹18.9 lakh and has a sporty feel. It comes with a rear-wheel-drive system, a “Boost” mode that can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 6.7 seconds, a fighter jet-inspired interior and a sport-tuned suspension. It also has a mileage of up to 683 kmph. All these features are designed for customers who want more power and a driving experience. Thus, these two models represent different faces in Mahindra’s electric vehicle lineup.

With Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay now available on both vehicles, one of the major drawbacks that was present in the early days of Mahindra’s XEV 9e and BE6 models has been removed. The introduction of these features is in line with customer expectations.

The XEV 9e model has been designed primarily with a focus on technology and modern infotainment features. On the other hand, the BE6 model is designed with driving experience and performance in mind. The different objectives of these two models clearly show that Mahindra is working towards attracting a diverse range of customers with its electric vehicle lineup and is looking to capture diverse market shares.

Mahindra EVs set a record on their birthday: Waiting time to come down

Mahindra’s new electric vehicles, the XEV 9e and BE6, received over 30,000 bookings on the day of their launch. This high demand and software upgrades led to a long waiting time for the vehicles. However, as Mahindra is currently ramping up production, it is expected that this waiting time will come down in the future. Mahindra has delivered over 11,000 vehicles so far, of which 59% have opted for the XEV 9e and 41% for the BE6. This clearly shows the preferences of customers.
