The new Z4 AT model of the Mahindra Scorpio N has been launched. It has become the lowest-priced model in the series with an automatic gearbox. With this, the automatic gearbox facility, which was earlier only available in high-priced models, is now available in the most affordable model.

For this, Mahindra & Mahindra has changed the structure of the Scorpio N vehicle line-up. With this, the automatic gearbox option has been made accessible to more customers. Despite the low price, it is also a fully automatic vehicle.
Automatic Scorpio N Z4 launched at a price that is affordable to the masses
The Z4 variant of the Mahindra Scorpio N has now been launched with a torque converter automatic gearbox. It is currently available at an ex-showroom price of ₹17.39 lakh (petrol) and ₹17.86 lakh (diesel), making it the lowest-priced automatic model in the series.

This has made the automatic option in the Mahindra lineup more affordable for more customers. The Scorpio N is currently one of the most popular mid-size SUVs in India. It comes with 5 and 7 passenger seats, making it a great choice for families and commuters alike.
New Z4 AT cheaper than previous automatic models
The new Z4 AT variant introduced by Mahindra is priced at a lower price than the previous automatic models, the diesel Z6 and petrol Z8 Select. Notably, the diesel Z6 variant is priced at ₹18.91 lakh and the petrol Z8 Select variant is priced at ₹19.06 lakh, while the new Z4 AT is available at just ₹17.39 lakh (petrol) and ₹17.86 lakh (diesel).
This is a reduction of ₹1.05 lakh and ₹1.67 lakh respectively. This gives new customers the opportunity to enjoy an automatic gearbox at a very reasonable price. Through this, Mahindra is expanding its customer reach to more people.
Engine Options
Although the new Z4 AT variant has arrived, there are no changes to the petrol and diesel engines in it. There are two main engine options. One is the 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engine. It delivers 203 horsepower. This engine delivers 370 Nm of torque with a manual gearbox and 380 Nm of torque with an automatic gearbox.
The second is the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. It delivers 132 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. Both these engines are offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
Although these come with a rear-wheel drive (RWD) system, customers who opt for the diesel engine can also choose the 4WD (four-wheel drive) option in the Z4 (E) variant. This allows customers to easily choose the engine and drive system according to their travel needs.
2025 Mahindra Scorpio N Z4 – Interior Features
The new 2025 Mahindra Scorpio N Z4 variant offers modern amenities to passengers in a simple form. It has a seating capacity of 7 people, making it ideal for family trips. The seats are made of cushioned fabric covers, providing good comfort.
Important controls (Multifunction controls) have been provided on the steering wheel, which makes it easy to perform some tasks while driving the vehicle. Separate AC vents have been provided for the middle row seats, so that all passengers get an equal cooling experience.
The rear of the vehicle has a spoiler and LED flashing turn signals, which add to its beauty and safety. 17-inch wheels are provided with plastic covers.
