The M9 is a 7-seater electric MPV and is classified as an ultra-premium vehicle. It is expected to be priced between ₹60 lakh and ₹70 lakh. At this price, the M9 car has direct competition from cars like the Tata Siera EV and the Mercedes EQV.
First of all, this car can travel a distance of 500 kilometers on a single charge. This is an ARAI certified data. This range is enough to cover Chennai to Bangalore non-stop. The power for this is provided by a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery comes with IP67 certification, which means it is dust and water resistant.
In terms of performance, the M9 is designed to deliver 241 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque. With this technology, the car can accelerate from standstill to 100 kmph in just 7.8 seconds. This is a very fast performance for an electric car.
The starting price of this car is Rs 60 lakh. The top-end model with full features can be priced at around Rs 70 lakh. Customers can book it through MG Select dealerships for a token amount of Rs 51,000.
