Royal Enfield 250cc: Royal Enfield is working on a new motorcycle with a 250cc hybrid powertrain. For this, it is planning to form a technical collaboration with China’s CFMoto. This new motorcycle is expected to be launched at a lower price than the existing Hunter 350 model. The new 250cc hybrid engine will be designed to comply with BS6 Part 2 and the upcoming CAFÉ norms. This will improve fuel efficiency and environmental protection.

This new platform has been given an internal code with the name “V”. Apart from the engine, other components, design, suspension and bodywork will be the responsibility of Royal Enfield. This hybrid model will compete with the low-powered premium bikes in the market.
New Royal Enfield 250cc hybrid bike at a reduced price
Royal Enfield’s upcoming 250cc hybrid motorcycle is expected to be priced lower than the current Hunter 350 model, according to reports. The ex-showroom price of this new hybrid bike is expected to be around Rs. 1.25 lakh to Rs. 1.35 lakh. This is seen as an attempt to target the premium vehicle market for low-performance bikes.
Royal Enfield’s negotiations with China’s CFMoto to provide a new hybrid engine are in the final stages. The technology agreement is said to be fully finalized in the first half of 2026.
