This RAV4 car is called the “Mini Fortuner” due to its unique design. It comes with a sporty and eye-catching exterior. Beautiful design
The exterior design of the new RAV4 SUV is similar to the appearance of the Land Cruiser. Thick wheel arches have been set to indicate the car’s agile movement and off-road capability. Customers can choose 17, 18 or 19-inch wheels based on preference. It also has improved interior facilities compared to previous models. The new dashboard design, steering wheel and AC controls have modernized the car’s configuration.
Infotainment system with modern digital facilities
The new generation Toyota RAV4 SUV is equipped with a 12.9-inch touch screen infotainment unit based on Toyota’s new Arena operating system. It is designed to be easily connected to Google Android and Apple iOS. This infotainment system is said to be used as standard on all future Toyota cars. Accordingly, there are also modern facilities like a 10.5-inch screen display and wireless charging in this air.
New RAV4 in two types of hybrid options
The new generation Toyota RAV4 SUV has two electric technologies. One is a strong hybrid and the other is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV). Both of these have two electric motors connected to a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine. This system works powerfully and is fuel-efficient. The hybrid model is capable of producing 236 bhp of horsepower. At the same time, the plug-in hybrid model will provide more power up to 320 bhp. This makes the traveling experience powerful and efficient.
Toyota RAV4 Packed with Safety and Capability
The new RAV4’s plug-in hybrid model promises a range of around 80 km on electric power alone. The XSE and Woodland variants also offer fast charging. The SUV is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive (AWD). It also returns a claimed 35 km/l fuel economy. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 5.8 seconds. Safety features include automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring. All of these are part of Toyota’s ADAS safety suite.
RAV4 GR Sport Edition and Launch Details
Toyota RAV4 has also introduced its sporty version, the GR Sport Edition. This version has some design changes and safety features like 6 airbags, parking camera, seat belts etc. are offered as standard. This new RAV4 is likely to be launched in the US market by the end of 2025 or early 2026. However, its price has not been officially announced yet.
RAV4 Price and Indian Market Prospects
The starting price of the new Toyota RAV4 in the US is expected to be around 30,645 USD, which is expected to be around 25.5 lakhs in Indian rupees. Its price will be officially announced soon. Toyota has not yet made any announcement regarding the possibility of this model coming to the Indian market. However, with hybrid cars becoming more popular in India, there is a possibility of the RAV4 Hybrid model being imported to India. Currently, Toyota is importing the Camry Hybrid car to India in CBU mode.
