The prices of these scooters range from ₹74,000 to ₹1.20 lakh (ex-showroom), making it affordable for people of various income groups. Seeing the good support from the customers, Hero is now moving ahead with the plan to introduce more new electric models in the Indian market.
Hero is planning to launch two new electric scooters under its Vida brand on July 1. So far, no official announcement has been made by the company about these scooters. But according to media reports, these models are said to be named Vida Z and Vida Vx2.
Moreover, these scooters are expected to come with high-end motor technology called Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, which will provide high performance and efficiency.
The new Vida Z and Vida Vx2 scooters are expected to be launched with a large capacity battery pack of 4.4kWh. Thus, they will provide better performance and will have the facility to travel for a long distance. They will attract more young customers due to their stylish design and various attractive colors. With high performance and reasonable price, these scooters will be a great choice for many.
The Vida Vx2 scooter is likely to be launched in multiple variants, and its starting price is expected to be around ₹1 lakh. At the same time, the Vida Z model is said to be available at a lower price. The currently on sale Vida V2 models are available with battery options ranging from 2.2kWh to 3.94kWh. They offer a range of 94 km to 165 km on a single charge. The new models are expected to exceed this standard and offer even better performance and travel capabilities.
